What this covers
This policy covers this website and its contact form. Your own Khata, once you run it, keeps your financial data on your own server, where only you can sign in.
What we collect, and why
When you send the contact form, we store your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic you picked and your message. We use them only to reply to you. We also keep the date you agreed to this policy.
To stop spam, we keep a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address for rate limiting. We can’t turn it back into your IP address.
What we don’t do
- No advertising and no tracking or analytics scripts on this site.
- No selling, renting or sharing your details with anyone.
- No cookies except the ones needed for the form to work securely.
How we protect it
Everything you send in the form is encrypted in our database (AES-256). The site only works over HTTPS.
How long we keep it
Messages are deleted automatically 12 months after they arrive, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
In line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time. Use the contact form and we’ll act on it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
